Asset Tracing

Locating and mapping hidden, undisclosed or dissipated assets across property, banking and corporate structures, and building the trail to recover them.

Where we look

  • Real estate, land and property holdings
  • Bank and financial accounts
  • Corporate shareholdings and directorships
  • Nominee, benami and family-held structures
  • Movable, luxury and lifestyle assets
  • Cross-border and offshore holdings

Finding what has been hidden, moved or disguised, and building the trail to recover it. We go well beyond declared holdings: mining corporate registries, property records and financial trails, mapping the subject's spouse, relatives, nominees and associated entities, and confirming occupancy and control on the ground, so that lenders, resolution professionals and counsel have the evidentiary basis to seek attachment and enforce.

Where asset tracing plugs in

  • Enforcement of awards and decrees: locating the assets behind an award or decree, including layered corporate structures and assets moved to relatives, to support execution and attachment.
  • Insolvency: locating promoter and personal guarantor assets, including benami structures and assets moved to family members, to support Section 95 proceedings and post-resolution recovery.
  • Securities matters: tracing diverted funds and promoter assets in fund-diversion and market manipulation matters to support recovery, disgorgement and settlement discussions.
  • Lenders: reviving personal-guarantee recoveries that had been written off on the assumption that there was nothing left to recover.

The golden rule

Nothing is reported until it has been independently corroborated. A single source is a lead, never a finding. Every finding is triangulated across independent sources and documented to withstand legal and regulatory scrutiny. That is what makes our intelligence usable in a boardroom, a negotiation or a courtroom.

How we engage

Discreet by design. Pretext identities and strict need-to-know handling ensure the subject never learns an enquiry is underway.

Lawful and ethical. We rely on open sources, lawful enquiry and legitimate field methods. No illegal access, ever.

Confidential handling. Strict data-privacy adherence (DPDP / GDPR), secure processing and anonymised, controlled reporting.

Flexible deliverables. Verbal briefings, red-flag alerts or full evidentiary dossiers, scoped to your objective and timeline.
