Fraud, mispricing and hidden risk rarely show up in the numbers first. They show up in behaviour, relationships and reputation, visible only to someone who knows how to look. This document introduces NARADism's Corporate Intelligence practice, which fuses discreet human enquiry with open-source and financial intelligence to hand decision-makers verified facts rather than assumptions.

Who it is for

The document is written for boards, general counsel, lenders, investors and procurement leaders who need answers their databases, auditors and teams cannot give them, and for counsel who need intelligence that will hold up in a negotiation or a courtroom.

What it covers

Four capabilities are set out, each with what it answers, how it is done and what is delivered:

  • Market intelligence: discreet market, vendor and competitor enquiry through pretext outreach, discreet calls and on-ground checks, delivering benchmarked pricing reports, reputation profiles and negotiation evidence.
  • OSINT and desktop profiling: open-source research and digital-footprint analysis covering corporate structure, beneficial ownership, litigation and enforcement history, adverse media, political exposure and undisclosed connections.
  • Asset tracing: locating hidden, undisclosed or dissipated assets across property, banking and corporate structures, including nominee, benami and family-held holdings, with an asset schedule and ownership map to support recovery.
  • Skip tracing: locating absconding borrowers, guarantors, fraudsters and untraceable directors, and confirming their whereabouts on the ground so that service of process can proceed.

How NARADism works

A five-step framework runs from scoping and mandate, through discreet field intelligence and OSINT and data analytics, to verification, cross-referencing and reporting. The golden rule is that nothing is reported until it has been independently corroborated: a single source is a lead, never a finding.

The engagement model is discreet by design, lawful and ethical, with strict data-privacy adherence under the DPDP Act and GDPR. A typical engagement moves from a confidential briefing to a fixed-scope proposal, discreet execution and a defensible report. The firm's field network operates across India.

Case studies

Five illustrative, anonymised case studies show the practice at work: a freight bill benchmarked against the real market; a contractor whose bids were priced too perfectly; a guarantor who vanished and was found; the assets that were not on the balance sheet; and a distribution partner who looked perfect on paper. Each is a composite; no client is identifiable.
